#ThakoonShow
Following social media trends in Social Media, I am always intrigued when I come across articles about luxury brands finding new and engaging ways to including brand loyalists and fans in areas that they normally wouldn’t be a part of. Especially during Fashion Week.
This NYFW we were lucky enough to work with the extremely talented Thakoon team to create buzz around their Fall 2012 Collection, aptly referred to as #ThakoonShow. Prior to the runway we worked with the team to give users a glimpse at the collection through each of their social platforms: behind-the-scenes images showcasing the creation of the show, sharing Thakoon’s inspiration for the collection and pre-show activities right until the music started on the runway. To make sure that all enthusiasts were a part of this season, a livestream of the show was able to be viewed on Thakoon.com and Style.com to coincide with live-tweets describing the looks the moment they went down the runway.
The team even wore #ThakoonShow buttons to create awareness among the fashion elite attending the show. Genius!
